Cyan is our latest endeavor in contributing to our City in Nature. We’ve always felt that we could do so much more for biodiversity in Singapore. Our cosy indoor space nestled within Tagore sets the stage for impactful connections between people and nature.
Cyan is a dedicated nature-based center focusing on biodiversity workshops, talks & events.
Our previous outdoor space at GUI provided us with a platform to build an audience, and we were privileged to have garnered the support of the nature community and more. We successfully ran a host of nature programmes such as Camp Goby, Entomology 101, and several fireside chats.
We continue to build upon what we have started at The Untamed Paths, offering an array of enriching indoor nature workshops. Our new sanctuary invites exploration, learning, and collaboration, as we endeavor to further embed the principles of sustainability and wildlife conservation into the fabric of our community.
Jiya2024-04-27Stargazer in the sand A really cool morning at Changi beach doing an intertidal walk with our very knowledgeable guide Xiaoyun. Saw tons of cool critters I never knew existed in Singapore and Xiaoyun was happy to furnish us with lots of interesting facts about them. Would definitely recommend!Odyssey461736018412024-04-19An educational and fun family activity We joined Changi Beach Intertidal Walk in April 2024. Our guide Xiaoyun was very friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Both the adults and children enjoyed the 2 hours well spent on the beach searching for various sea creatures and learning about the fascinating facts about them.FamilyGlobeTrotterx2024-04-18Off the beaten track delight We were 2 families, with 2 boys aged 11 years and 1 aged 15 years. One visiting Singapore, and other living in Singapore. 6 people in total. I was looking for an off-the-beaten track experience in Singapore. We did the 0600-0800 Changi Beach (mainland) walk in April 2024 on a public holiday. Booking was straightforward on their website, and information prior was very clear including queries answered by Dennis email. Two days prior, details were confirmed. All very organised. Xiaoyun was our guide. She was knowledgeable, engaging and patient. The sea life we encountered was varied and really interesting. There was a choice to be a little hands-on. It was insightful experiencing the beach before sunrise, and exploring as the sun rose. Overall, the adults loved it as much as the adolescents and teenager. Untamed paths opened the door to a unique nature-focused experience in Singapore that added immense colour to our trip. Highly recommended. We would return to explore their other trips.Eva B2024-03-19A fantastic night wildlife watch in tropics I loved this experience! A nature love from Europe, always keen to see wildlife in its natural environment, especially in a different (i.e. tropical) environment. We got to see so much, by no means I would see any of those mammals, insects, reptiles and birds if I went alone. The guide Cloud / Xiaoyun was incredibly knowledgeable and shared a lot of info with us. It was amazing to see colugos (flying lemurs), snake, night birds, fluorescent scorpions, frogs, deer and various spiders and insects.Kavita G2024-03-11Intertidal excursion to Pulau Hantu We had an extraordinary Intertidal excursion to pulau Hantu. Our expert guide Noelle, was Knowledgeable and detailed in explaining the reef creatures found around the corals. I’ve learnt so much in that 3hrs. My son and I have already made another reservation for a mainland expedition this week. Let’s continue to educate and excite.
